Armed with an Advertising degree, three months Chem-Dry experience, and a supportive fiancée, Brian Curran started his franchise business.
Then he got a second job to pay all the bills.
From 1994 to 1997, the new franchise didn’t make any money, but with encouragement from his wife, Brian stuck with it.
“None of this would be possible without the belief my wife had in me. I could only imagine what her father thought.” Brian said.
After several years of cleaning and scheduling jobs, Brian felt it was time to expand. First a customer service rep on the phone, then another technician cleaning, then another van cleaning. Then, in 2000 he bought a second franchise, partnering with Kenny Epps, a military veteran with Chem-Dry experience. Together they expanded further, purchasing additional franchises. Today they service a good portion of central Virginia.
“We love helping homeowners have the cleanest healthiest home ever. We love providing a wonderful career opportunity for so many hard working folks.” Brain said. “I dreamed of providing my wife with a nice home. Raising children with her and enjoying them every day… now I am truly living my dream”
