We’re not your ordinary carpet cleaning franchise. Chem-Dry’s unique approach to carpet cleaning uses the power of carbonation to extract more dirt and grime from your carpets, giving them a deeper clean. As well, our carbonated cleaning substances only require us to use a fraction of the moisture other carpet cleaning methods use.

The secret to Chem-Dry’s healthier clean is the millions of microscopic, carbonating cleaning bubbles in our cleaner we call The Natural®, a green certified product. The carbonating solutions penetrate deep into the base of the carpet, literally exploding dirt and grime off of the fiber’s surface. Then, we use hot water extraction to lift the dirty particles to the surface where they are whisked away. Chem-Dry’s hot water extraction process has been awarded the GOLD seal of approval by The Carpet and Rug Institute.

Steam Cleaning

This is the most recognized method for carpet cleaning; however it can be the most harmful for carpet. Steam cleaners simply douse your carpet in buckets of hot, soapy water, and then attempt to suck it all back out. While this process does temporarily clean your carpets, it also leaves behind a layer of sticky residue which collects dirt faster, in addition to leaving moisture at the base of your carpet. This excess of moisture causes the carpets to take longer to dry and allows for mold and bacteria to grow.

Other “Dry” Methods

There are many other carpet cleaning franchises claiming to offer a “dry” method to their customers. These methods rage from spin bonnet cleaners, a dry powder cleaning method, or a method that requires a technician to manually spray down the solution then use a rotary vacuum to pick up some of the dirt. Without proper extraction there is no way to remove all of the dirt and moisture from the carpet.
